Crested Serpent Eagle (Spilornis cheela)

We found this Eagle on a dry tree not bothered with our presence. I asked the boatman to position the boat such that I get some amount of green from the tree far behind. Otherwise, because of the steep angle, I would have got the washed out sky. Another tip to keep in mind when you have a co-operative bird. Check the background and surrounding through the view finder to avoid any distractions.
