This was the view from our rest house at Terai. The habitat in the camp is excellent for birding. The little Spiderhunters used to visit the wild Banana plantation seen in the bottom left of the photograph.

This was shot while driving down towards Dampa village. This is the kind of Landscape you come across as you travel the length and breadth of Mizoram. Its beautiful scenery all along the way.

We had a do a 5 hrs trek to reach Dampa-Tlang. It was worth the effort. Though we did make much bird photographs, it was a great experience exploring the Reserve on foot. This is the view of the Reserve from Dampa-Tlang, which is around 850 meters.

This was the last shot for the day. I waited for some birds to fly past the sun. But this was the closest I could get.
